Introduction

Canada is a major destination for Indonesian students to study. Canada universities offers various programs.

Preparations

1. Get the Letter of Acceptance from the university you want to study.
   Letter of Acceptance is required to get a visa to enter to Canada. Visit our Canada universities website for more information.

2. Get your passport ready.
3. Decide when you want to depart to Canada.
   This include getting your airplane ticket. One of the requirement to get visa from the Canadian Embassy is to have a ticket.

4. Get the visa to enter Canada from Canadian Embassy in Jakarta.
   If you want to get a visa to study in Canada, you may required to have a medical checkup. The Canadian Embassy will notify you about that. When you want to enter Canada to study, your visa will be accompanied by a letter that you need to present to the Canada Immigration officer on the first port of entry to Canada. This letter will be used to issue a student permit that usually valid for 1 year. This permit will allow you to stay in Canada. The visa is only used to enter to Canada.

5. Contact your friend in Canada.
   If you do not have any friend, you can contact ICC and inform us about your arrival.
