In Memory: Bpk H. Sukandaru (Malang, Indonesia)

Dear friends

The ICC is saddened to learn of the passing of Bpk. H. Sukandaru in Malang, East Java Indonesia the beloved father of Bpk. Gatot Susilo a close friend and long time value  member of Indonesian Community in Ottawa.  Bpk. Sukandaru was passed away on Monday, 29 October 2012, around 2.30PM local time at the age of 76 th. He was buried at the same day 10AM.

On behalf of ICC Executives, Board Member and ICC member, we express our deepest sympathies and heartfelt condolences to the grieving family for the great loss they suffered. Let Allah SWT almighty take the departed soul to His Paradise and give strength to all loved ones to tide of these days of sorrow.

May Allah help Pak Gatot Susilo and family here in Ottawa and Malang, Indonesia through this difficult time and our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Ramadan 1433 AH (~21 July – 18 August 2012) : Happy Month of Ramadan

Ramadan is the ninth month of the lunar Islamic calendar, which lasts 29 or 30 days according to the visual sightings of the crescent moon. It is the Muslim month of fasting, in which Muslims refrain from dawn until sunset from eating, drinking, and sexual relations.

On behalf of ICC Executives, Board and Member, we wish you a very happy Ramadan Mubarak to everyone who welcome the Muslim blessing month.
